No kidding, eh?
That’s TELUS mobility’s motto. I swear, I’ve never been in a place this friendly. The people there are really great. I feel at ease. The cynic in me though is asking “well, gee, how long will this feeling last?” Seriously.
In my first week, I’ve received so much swag. It’s quite amazing. I’ve received a calendar, mugs, TELUS post-its with those cute bunnies, a backpack, a t-shirt, a mousepad, a pen, and one of those stuffed TELUS lizards (yes! one of those! the red one!). Christ, I’m gushing. But seriously, I almost feel like they’re happy to have me. I haven’t had that feeling since…ever. In past co-op terms, I’ve always felt like an outsider, or perhaps someone that was just…”there”. This time, I dunno, I’m suddenly feeling quite motivated to contribute properly. They know what they’re doing. Perhaps I should really consider trying to get a job there after graduation.
Yikes, I’ve been brainwashed!
