So, I sit here in my room in Waterloo thinking, “man, this was one hell of a day”. This was the first time in all the times I’ve moved back and forth that I’ve done so without any help from my parents. It was just me, the Sunfire, and all the crap I decided to bring along. Thing is, each time in the past, we always brought everything in the minivan. Inevitably, that meant bringing around an excessive amount of stuff. This time, I attempted to go as light as I could. Man, if you could only see my room now. It’s bare bones, really. Quite ghetto. I’m using an ironing board as my desk for my laptop. Once I retrieve my SD card for my phone, I’ll take a pic. It’s kinda sad, but amusing.
This time, at the suggestion of my mother, I decided to not bring my desktop. Sure, that really helped to lighten the load, but I had my reservations. I was wondering for a good while whether there was anything on there that I needed to send along to the notebook. Plus, I’d never left if behind before. This was another first. As it is, I’m getting used ot typing on this thing. I’m making a lot more typos and what not, but whatever.
