Pieces are falling into place. We’ve been here in the lab for the past few hours preparing various submissions for the fourth year design project. The poster is coming along nicely. The report is being handled rather well. My program is generating VHDL code that actually works on the car (holy crap, I was shocked). Despite all the progress, it looks like tonight will be an all nighter.
Despite the FYDP being on the horizon, other classes haven’t grinded to a halt. Tony and Henrick have an essay due tomorrow. Keith has a pre-lab assignment due for his Modelling of Electric Drives and Controls class. He was doing some research on Ampère’s Law when he stumbled upon the Ampère’s Law Song. Oh my…upon hearing it, I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Here in the lab, Keith, Henrick and I have been laughing at this ear worm, mostly at the geekiness of it, but also because we found this geeky humor entertaining.
Oh dear, what has university done to us?
