Should probably read during reading week

Yesterday, when Sharon and I were walking around the mall, we stopped by the Home Hardware to look around. We weren’t really looking for anything in particular; we were just walking around for the sake of walking. Inside, I found out that they were selling bags of Skittles for $0.99. These weren’t just the small bags either: there were the normal sized 191 g bags. I purchased 2 bags, and in the span of the 24 hours since then I’ve already finished 1.5 bags. That’s just not good for my system. I figure I’ll pay for it sometime within the next 48 hours. As I type this though, I’m staring over at this open bag of them. It’s like they’re calling me. Screw that though. It’s not healthy.

Anyway, Saturday is coming to a close. That pretty much means then that reading week is now over and done with. Oh, joy of joys! This wasn’t long enough. It feels like I’ve been constantly on the move. To an extent, I really have been. Just today, my mom and I ventured out to Brampton to visit my aunt who’s about to be moving to the States. So yeah, putting a lot of mileage on the car. Thing is, during all this time I’ve had intentions to study for my two midterms on Wednesday, but so far nothing has happened. Maybe I’m mildly guilty. I mean, I know a lot of people work so much harder and are super stressed at the moment. However, I know how I work, and I’m know that I’ll do well enough no matter what. After 5.5 years of going at it, I’m prety good at what I do, you know? I don’t expect that to change now.

Although, I do worry. I mean, as it is, I seem to be the only one that’s this relaxed. Maybe it’s ignorance. Perhaps it’s over-confidence. Or maybe, it’s the very fact that I’ve got it all figured out. Whatever the case, the end of this chapter in my life will be coming to a close soon enough.

Skittles is Al-chan’s favorite candy and usually gets a little bag at every rest stop when we travel between Kentucky and Michigan.

Thankfully, we usually only stop twice. And she opts to buy water than a pop. I can’t complain TOO much.

All within moderation, I guess. Skittles are just too damn addictive, though.
