It’s always a bit of an undertaking when you want to update some piece of software on your site, you know? I’ve just updated the WordPress software because I was sort of interested in the new widgets feature. Upon updating though, I’ve found that my old theme no longer does what I want it to do. As well, the “One Year Ago” feature doesn’t seem to work with the new widgets feature.
Anyway, I’m currently using one of the included themes that someone else made. I’m thinking that instead of putting effort into tweaking it to make it look like something “Jason” would have, I might as well keep it: I rather like it. I’m still looking for ways to get “One Year Ago” working again though. Bah!
ETA: So, yeah, if you see the look of the blog change around a lot in the next little while, you will know why.

Small follow-up.
Found a different plugin that does s similar job as One Year Ago, but is already Widgetized, so I’m now using it.
As well, I decided to start Scrobbling. So, a list of the last 10 tunes I played in iTunes will display in the sidebar. It’s pretty nifty. It actually updates automatically.

I blame the random feature. I have it set to occasionally play a group of songs by the same artist close together.
