You know, it didn’t even really click for me that Monday is a holiday, making this a long weekend. It wasn’t until a colleague got berated for also not knowing that I realized that, damn, this is a great opportunity. I considered it a great chance to catch up on a lot of domestic stuff–I really need to clean my room.
Of course, as I realized where my priorities lay, it dawned on me just how average life is. That’s not a bad thing. It just is what it is for now.
(Man…I need to get out of here…)
