Cradle for trendy

It seems like I was overcome by a wave of laziness today. I was yawning uncontrollably for much of the day. I was having trouble concentrating on work. It’s like, I was having a lot of difficulty wrapping my mind around what it was that I needed to do. Sure, I was still able to write code on and off, but overall my productivity isn’t as great as it could be. I’ve been like that for the past few days. I don’t get it! Is something wrong?

Partway through the lunch hour, I decided that it might just be a good idea to get myself out there and get some fresh air. So, I just walked west on Queen St. and kept going until the lunch hour was almost over. I think I almost got as far as Dufferin before deciding to take a streetcar back. As I was walking I noticed people and how most of the young adults were dressed the same. Almost everyone was wearing a black or grey wool coat. The females often had it belted. They were wearing mid-calf leather boots. A great deal of them were sporting sunglasses and looking somewhat trendy. The guys were all scruffy and wearing flat caps–the kind that sort of folds in the front. It’s kind of hard to describe. Everyone was wearing a scarf. Heh. Queen West is supposed to be something of a cradle for trendy shit and such, isn’t it? However…doesn’t it sort of defeat the purpose if everyone is doing it? I don’t understand it.

Though…I have to admit that I’m sort of tempted to pick up pointers from people I saw. I suppose I could use a cap. And a scarf. Still, I don’t want to blindly blend in. I love my leather, yes I do. I guess I just need to layer a bit more. Sweater maybe?

Bah. Stupid fashion.
