Just got word from a friend that IE wasn’t able to open the blog. I checked it out and sure enough he was right. Something about it not being able to open the site, which is a crock. After poking around it was determined that embedded videos were causing the problems in IE. So, I’ve just gone through my posts removing any embedded vids from YouTube and such. That really bites, doesn’t it? I mean, embedded vids were meant as a convenience to you, the reader, but what’s the point if you can’t even access the site, yeah?
Whatever. Go Firefox.
ETA: There seems to be a conflict between the Lightbox plugin and embedded videos. Given a choice between the two, I’ve decided to deactivate the Lightbox plugin, which is a shame, but that’s the way things go. What does that mean? Well, images that used to popup in this nice layer will now act like any other run of the mill image. I’ll try to find another plugin that’ll actually work with vids, but I’m in no hurry to find one.
