Was in the Tim Hortons by work and I heard a Christmas tune being played on one of the local radio stations. Faaaaaar too soon. I’m switching my alarm clock from the radio to my iPod. I’m generally not the festive type, but I can still deal with holiday music when the timing is right. Still: November? UGH.

Late November isn’t too bad. While I was shopping in Buffalo before Hallowe’en, the Carter’s store was playing Christmas music! While we’re on the subject some stores, like Costco, start putting out Christmas stuff before summer’s over. Hallmark puts their decoration collection on the shelves in July or August.

There are way to many christmas decorations up round by me, and all the Christmas music just takes edge off the celebration. Before December = too soon.

You do realize that December is less than a week away, right?

Yeah, fine, late-November isn’t toooooooooo bad. Halloween is far too early. Thing is my non-festive self would rather delay things as much as possible. There’s space for Christmas stuff perhaps two weeks prior to the holiday, but man, even then if I can isolate it to just a few days that would be ideal for me. I have no plans on decorating my place. I don’t think I need to put up a tree. TV shows get far too sentimental. Argh. Too much, too much.
