Papaya is such an interesting fruit, isn’t it? It has brightly coloured, sweet, and has this weirdly creamy texture. It’s fragrant, but I can’t figure out whether I like how it smells. It’s flowery, but there’s something of a punch of strange odour to it that I just can’t put my finger on. It always seems like it’s way past ripeness. I think long ago I had a bad experience with the fruit where I broke out into hives after eating it. Ever since then, I’ve approached it with a lot of hesitation. Funny how it gave me a rash–the fruit is supposed to be good for your skin.
Oh yeah, it has another property that I haven’t mentioned yet. The fruit is pretty well known for its laxative properties. Need to get things moving? Eat papaya. It’s not like you’ll be out of control, but rather…it’ll ramp up the frequency.
I had about 3/8 of a fruit on Saturday morning. I was hesitant especially because of that last property I mentioned. I didn’t want to have to be in the vicinity of the bathroom for the next while. However, I didn’t think the effects would be that bad. I am Superman after all
. Well, it’s now late on the day after the fact and I’m wishing that I could return to a more regular schedule. It’s getting a bit ridiculous. Tomorrow will be a good day: tomorrow I will be free from the damn papaya.
